Draft, not legal advice. These terms are written in plain English as a starting point. They haven't been reviewed by a lawyer and will change before launch. If anything here conflicts with a signed sponsor agreement, the signed agreement wins. "I" and "me" below means the seller, Haul of Fame, Glendale, Arizona, USA, USDOT [USDOT #], MC [MC #]. Questions: bids@hauloffamefreight.com.
Advertising space on one 26-ft box truck that will haul real freight. I don't own the truck yet. Sponsorships fund buying it, wrapping it and getting it on the road. There is only one truck, and each spot has one sponsor. You're contracting with Haul of Fame, not with any individual.
What each panel covers. The driver-side and passenger-side panels are the box side above the Haul of Fame band. The title sponsorship covers every truck panel (both box sides above the Haul of Fame band, rear door, nose header, cab doors and mud flaps). Claim a State listings are separate.
The Haul of Fame band. The bottom ~18 in of each box side is the Haul of Fame band. It holds the Founders Wall tiles (one row of 6 × 6 in tiles) and the Sign the Truck names (section 15). It isn't part of the driver-side, passenger-side or title sponsor spots. Side and title artwork runs on the box side above the band. Required lamps, reflectors and markings stay uncovered.
| Spot | Term | Starting price |
|---|---|---|
| Title sponsor · full wrap | 3 years | $125,000 |
| Driver side | 2 years | $45,000 |
| Passenger side | 2 years | $40,000 |
| Rear door | 2 years | $30,000 |
| Nose header | 18 months | $10,000 |
| Cab doors (pair) | 18 months | $7,500 |
| Mud flaps | 12 months | $2,500 |
| Claim a State (each of the lower 48) | 12 months | $1,000 |
| Founders Wall tile | 12 months | $500 flat |
The term starts the day your wrap (or tile, or state listing) is installed on the truck and runs for the length above. "About $X/mo" figures on the site are the price divided by the months in the term, rounded to the dollar. They're shown for comparison only; payment follows the schedule in your signed agreement, not a monthly bill.
Each spot is a separate auction. It opens at its starting price, and the first bid must be exactly that price. After that, every bid has to be exactly one step above the current top confirmed bid: $1,000 for spots that start at $10,000 or more (including the title sponsorship), $500 for spots that start below $10,000 (including every state). A bid only counts once you confirm it from the email link. If someone else confirms first, your pending bid lapses and you can bid the new next step. Founders Wall tiles are a flat $500 each, first come, first served, 100 total. Bidding closes January 31, 2027 at 11:59 pm Eastern.
The title sponsorship and the individual panels can't both run. At close, the higher of (a) the top title bid or (b) the total of the top panel bids wins the truck panels. So a panel bidder can hold the top bid on a panel and still not win it, if the title bid is higher than all panel bids added up. Claim a State and the Founders Wall are separate and run either way.
This site doesn't take payment. A bid tells me you want the spot at that price. When bidding closes, I contact the top confirmed bidder for each spot and send a written sponsor agreement. Neither of us is bound until that agreement is signed by both of us and your first payment has cleared. Until then either of us can walk away, with no cost to you.
Planned payment timing (the agreement sets the final version): an invoice within 7 days after bidding closes, for example 50% on signing and 50% when the truck is purchased.
The goal is $148,719: the listed truck, Michigan tax, title and plates, plus estimated wrap and startup costs (see the breakdown). If the money committed under signed agreements falls short of $148,719, or the specific truck listed on the site sells before I can buy it, you choose one of these:
It's your choice, not mine. If I can't offer a comparable truck, you get the full refund. The signed agreement will say how quickly refunds are paid.
I'll have your artwork installed within 30 days after I take delivery of the truck, as long as you've approved final artwork. If I miss that window, your term still only starts on the day the wrap is actually installed, so you never lose time on the road. I'll send a photo of the installed wrap with the start date.
You supply your logo and artwork; the wrap shop lays it out and you approve a proof before printing. Artwork must not be:
The USDOT number and the carrier's name stay visible on both cab doors at all times. Cab-door sponsors share that space; the required markings come first.
Right of refusal. I can refuse any bid or artwork that breaks these rules, or that would put the business, its insurance or its operating authority at risk. If I refuse after you've paid, you get a full refund of what you paid for that spot.
Before your term ends, I'll offer you the same spot for a new term before it's offered to anyone else. You'll have at least 30 days to accept. The renewal price is set in writing at that time.
The truck runs in the lower 48 states only, so Claim a State covers those 48 states, one winner each. Alaska and Hawaii aren't offered.
For driver safety, I never share the truck's live location. I post route recaps after each run, never in real time.
Routes follow the freight, and mileage depends on the loads. The site doesn't promise any number of miles, views or impressions. State shout-outs happen when the truck actually enters that state, and dates aren't guaranteed.
Every truck image on the site is a computer-generated concept render based on the International MV607, not a photo of my truck. The real truck, colors and panel sizes may differ, and the panel sizes on the site are approximate. Your wrap will be laid out for the real truck.
A sponsorship buys advertising space only. It isn't ownership of the truck or the business, and it doesn't share in profits.
Your company name, website and bid amount appear publicly after you confirm a bid. Your email is used only to confirm bids, contact winners and, if you opt in, tell you when you're outbid. It's never shown or sold. Details in the privacy policy.
